TFF Basic Seminar for Learning from Zero
Holding a basic seminar on Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) that can be learned from scratch!
The new business fields related to the manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals, such as gene therapy drugs, peptide medicines, and new types of vaccines represented by mRNA vaccines, are on a continuous path of expansion. However, the technology for scaling up from lab-scale to commercial production scale remains a challenge. The equipment and operating methods used in small-scale lab production differ from those used in commercial production scale. Therefore, while leveraging the results of laboratory-level research, it is essential to collect test data that anticipates the transition to GMP manufacturing from the preclinical and clinical trial drug production stages. This will be the first step toward practical application in the future. This seminar will provide an overview of the fundamentals of TFF technology, which is frequently used in manufacturing processes.
